Our Journey and Evolution

Since its founding in 1995, ATELIER 3T has grown to become a leader in metal fabrication and welding. Explore the key milestones of our journey, shaped by challenges and achievements.

  • 1995: Founding of ATELIER 3T, a subcontracting company in agricultural metal fabrication
    In July 1995, at the age of 25, Laurent THOMIR founded ATELIER 3T, a small company specializing in manufacturing agricultural equipment, including the BMV Grass Pick-Up for forage harvesters and SILO FARMER straw blowers.
  • 1999: Investment in laser cutting, machining, and robotic welding
    By 1999, with a team of around 20 employees, the company expanded its facility to 3,100 m² and invested in laser cutting, machining, and robotic welding equipment to become a fully integrated metal fabrication manufacturer.
  • 2001: Diversification into machine tools, naval, material handling, and urban furniture
    To broaden its client base, the company expanded into new industries in 2001, including machine tools, naval, material handling, and urban furniture.
  • 2005: Opening of the second production site, "A3Découpe"
    To meet increasing demand, the company built a second 2,200 m² facility, "A3Découpe," in 2004, which became operational in March 2005. This site specializes in cutting, laser processing, and machining.
  • 2005: Creation of the AGRISPHERE® brand
    In September 2005, after manufacturing numerous livestock equipment solutions, the company withdrew from subcontracted agricultural production to launch its own range under the AGRISPHERE® brand.
  • 2008: Acquisition of the BMV name and resumption of Grass Pick-Up manufacturing
    In 2008, following the liquidation of its first major client, Laurent THOMIR took over the BMV brand and relaunched the production of the Grass Pick-Up, ATELIER 3T’s first product.
  • 2018: Introduction of the Ô DEcos® product line
    In 2018, the company diversified further by launching Ô DEcos®, a brand dedicated to garden design products.
  • 2021: Fire and challenges
    On July 6, 2021, an accidental fire destroyed a third of the facility and production equipment. Thanks to the swift response of firefighters and the dedication of employees, operations resumed within 72 hours. Full reconstruction took a year.
  • 2022: Facility reconstruction
    Alongside rebuilding efforts, the company expanded its production capacity with a new 3,200 m² building dedicated to painting and assembling parts.
  • 2023: Opening of ESPACE LAQUAGE, a surface treatment and painting facility for steel and aluminum
    In October 2023, the company inaugurated "ESPACE LAQUAGE," a modern and eco-friendly facility specializing in surface treatment and painting of steel and aluminum.
